Our Aims & Objectives

We aim to promote diabetes care and prevention and to help those affected by diabetes with medications and equipment which are hard to access in the Gambia.

1) To raise funds which will help to develop the project.
2) To have adequate resources such as medications, equipment such as blood glucose meters, as well as providing information on a diabetic diet, blood glucose monitoring etc.
3) To empower people to have control of their disease i.e through education and involving primary healthcare professionals and to make people aware of diabetes and provide counselling.
4) To have centers where people could have access to screening programmes, information and advice.
5) To have links with other organisations who would give support to provide resources.
